Don’t buy the gear
Whether you’re trying a new sport or getting back to an old favourite, find gear for your next outing for much cheaper than any rental shop.
Gear rental, from locals
Your door to the outdoors
Rent the gear you need for the weekend from someone nearby — cheaper than a rental shop, listed by locals, booked in the app.
Photography is licence-clear stock, credited on the sources page. The company’s own photos did not survive.
Why Rexchanger
Three reasons people open the app
Travel light
With listings all over the world you can leave the bigger items at home and rent top-quality gear wherever you go. Local Trailblazers rent their gear and give tips about the area.
Earn from the garage
If you can’t use it, somebody should — and you should make some extra cash in the process. Help others discover your favourite sport.
All the gear you could need
Eight categories, and much more
If you can rent it outdoors, someone on Rexchanger probably lists it.
Category photographs are licence-clear stock, credited on sources & credits.
Two kinds of people
Adventurers and Trailblazers
Adventurers rent: download the app, add a payment method, and the marketplace opens up. Trailblazers list: register, add the details, set a daily price, and wait for the bookings.
Payments are processed automatically, and an optional Rexprotect policy covers gear against damage.
A loop made from a stock photograph — not company footage.
“Think of us as the Airbnb of outdoor recreation.”
Questions before you download?
The company answered four of them on its own site: what Rexchanger is, how renting works, how listing works, and what happens if gear is damaged.
